The software combines a primary PII model for personal data detection with several toggleable medical AI models for identifying diseases and medical conditions, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, vital signs and physiological measurements, as well as oncological and general clinical terms. These specialized recognition models are tailored to clinical and biomedical text structures. The Vital Signs & Measurements Model specifically targets physiological parameters within nursing notes and emergency department reports. Redactwizard Medical processes medical documents at speeds of up to 1 page per second¹. PDF files can be irreversibly masked, pseudonymized, and redacted. Plain text (TXT) files and ad-hoc manual inputs are also fully supported. A manual approval step is recommended for final quality assurance.
